Things are looking better!

My neighbor and I took a short walk the other evening.  We did it again the next day.  And the following day, we drove to the JACC board meeting.  We noticed something exciting:  The Jordan neighborhood is beginning to look a lot better thanks to the demolitions that have been going on.  The blocks we viewed were no longer littered with boarded and vacant buildings!  Looking up and down Penn Avenue in our small area, there are mostly decent looking houses or open spaces.  The neighborhood is beginning to look attractive!  This is good news!

As we drove through nearly one-third of the neighborhood to attend the meeting, we noticed the same thing in other areas.  Jordan is improving.  It is looking more and more like a neighborhood where one might want to buy a home and send down roots.  Hooray!
